My creative approach in working with collage is similar to that which I employ in making assemblages. I enjoy the freedom in composing through the fluid association of materials and images. My main media is a modeling paste which I treat with pure pigment. The plasticity of the surface and the random marks and textures created by tools and scrapers elicit ideas and themes which reflect figurative references.
