Desert Landscapes

The Desert and the Nile are a significant part of my Egyptian experiences and both are central to the history of Egypt. The desert is an extraordinary place, intimidating yet of extreme beauty. Standing in the silence of the desert we are made aware of our human fragility caught between the immensity of sky and sand. The drawings were created using watercolour and pen and ink.
