Egyptian Inspiration

The art in this presentation has been inspired by my fascination with Egypt  motivated by my interest in its archaeology, landscape and ancient mythologies. I established a studio in Luxor in  2006 to explore the diverse source material to be found in such a culturally rich area.

This selection of work from the last ten years represents an imaginative response to the varied and rich history and traditions I have encountered in Egypt .  My expectation is to stir the viewer’s imagination by creating a visually enriching experience.
